You know that I’m on a mission to help us bring more fun, creativity and beauty into our lives through journaling. I firmly believe that writing is good for us and can enhance our lives if we incorporate it into our personal wellbeing activities.
And perhaps you agree with me that it’s a lovely idea, but you’re thinking to yourself, ‘Sounds great in theory, but I just don’t have the TIME.’
Between work, home, children, other family responsibilities and the myriad ad hoc activities we undertake daily, it’s very hard to think that we could add something to the list for FUN. It sounds like just another stressor, or something that we’ll possibly be able to do ‘one day’ but ‘not just now’.
I definitely know the feeling. Even though writing’s ‘my thing’, since going into business for myself, my time to write fiction has taken a huge hit. I’m trying to rectify that, but there’s always something else that “needs” done, preventing me from progressing my personal fiction project(s).
I definitely get that it’s not easy, but it’s important, so I’ve been working on it.
Here’s my question:
Would you like to carve out time in your day, week or month to do something just for you, something creative, something fun?
Then I have something for you.
I’ve put together a PDF to help you identify how to make the best use of your time and make space to bring more creativity into your life.
In a few exercises you’ll see clearly:
- how you currently spend your time
- areas in which you may be letting precious time leak away from you and
- some tips to schedule and take control of your day.
The PDF includes a time tracker, a weekly planner sheet and a time blocker for you to use (and print as often as you like to use again and again). And, of course, it’s FREE.
If that sounds good to you, then let’s keep in touch. The best way is to sign up to join the email community and, to welcome you, I'll send you the PDF.
You’ll be added to Elle Turner Creative’s mailing list so that you receive updates, inspiration, some exclusive content and occasional offers. You can, of course, unsubscribe from updates at any time if you find you're not keen on the emails. (There’s a link to ETC’s privacy notice at the bottom of the page that lets you know how your personal info is used).
And if you have any questions at all, email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or message me on Instagram @elleturnercreative
Let me know how much time you find, just for you!
